Pandey is founder, promoter and Managing Director of Commtel Networks. Being an expert in all aspects of business including sales and business development, global alliances and operations, has only helped him maintain that proven track record of building highly motivated teams which have consistently surpassed customers commitments.

Shriprakash commenced his professional journey as Systems Engineer in the year 1991 at Olex Cables, an Australian multinational firm and within 7 years went on to head Olex's Indian Operations. He established Commtel Networks in July, 1998 and has built the business from scratch to make it one of the most admired companies in its work domain.

His journey from being a Systems Engineer to a successful entrepreneur has been a transformational one, at the heart of which lies an abundant source of unfading energy and enthusiasm. An engineer by profession and a learner for life, his continual search to learn new things took him to the shores of accomplishing an Advanced Management Program from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and Kellogg School of Management at Chicago, IL. Shriprakash also serves on the board of United Commtel, a Texas based NexGen communication innovation company.

Dr. Upendra H. Manyam: Head, Emerging Technologies

Head of Emerging Technologies at Commtel Networks, Dr. Upendra has over the years become one of the mainstays of the company. His Doctorate and M.S in Fiber Optic Materials from Rutger University, USA are just a few feathers in his illustrious cap of life’s achievement. After a B. Tech. in Ceramic Engineering from I.T.B.H.U, Varanasi and 16 years of experience in development and application of fiber optic technologies, his efforts are still concentrated to master the field of Optics through constant adoption of novel converged communications.

Prior to Commtel he worked at Nufern, on optical fiber design and processing also developing a unique dispersion managed high-data-rate fibers while at Corning Incorporated. Not resting on the laurels of 12 US Patents, several Research Papers to his credit and serving on the Fiber Optics Panel of the US National Science Foundation’s SBIR program, he at Commtel is deeply involved in integrated network design and architecture related to DWDM, SDH/Sonet and Ethernet technologies over optical fibers. A thorough professional, he is a perfect mix of academic brilliance meeting real life application, an asset to any organization.

Dinesh Pandey: Director and Head, Business Value Creation Group

One of the toughest profiles in a corporate setting is heading a division which happens to be the soul of any B2B organization, the Marketing Head position. Mr. Dinesh Pandey is someone who being the Head of the Business Value Creation Group and also holding a key position as a Director on board of Commtel, carries off marketing responsibilities with aplomb. An MBA in Marketing and heading the most responsible position of a technical and technology driven company speaks highly of him.

Dinesh joined Commtel in the year 2004 not before starting his career as a Sales Executive in S.S. Stainless and Equipment Pvt. Ltd. for 2 years. After gaining some experience he ventured his own enterprise- a software training center and ran it for 5 long years, learning from which made him a stronger individual. 15 years of experience in different industries hasn’t changed his approach to attending a challenge rather equipped him with an attitude to take risks and boldly overcome them.

A people’s person, he is fun loving, effusing liveliness and warmth even with a shake of hands. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration in saying that he is one of the most interesting and engaging persons at Commtel whose firm focus is on making each day count.

Shreepal Gosar: Head, Business Commerce and Sourcing

Heading the business commerce and sourcing group of a technically and technologically driven company is a position of great responsibility, currently held by Shreepal Gosar. An engineering graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication equipped with advanced learning in fiber optic and digital communication systems he has 14 years of industry experience. His association with Commtel goes almost a decade back when he joined as an Engineer and subsequently moved up the ranks to spearhead the Business Commerce and Sourcing group.

Shreepal has executed many projects in the field of optic fiber based communication systems in India and abroad, acquiring unmatched technical expertise and knowledge. Within Commtel he is also responsible for project costing, system design engineering and key procurement activities.

Prasad Gopal Pai: Head, Technology Solutions & Engineering

Prasad Pai joined Commtel as Head-Technology Solutions & Engineering after 19 years of notable Telecom and IT exposure in the Oil and Gas sector. His extensive knowledge backed know-how of business development function in the Telecommunications and Industrial IT Network Design, Project Execution, Tender Evaluation & Response, Technical Evaluation of Bids and Products makes him a valuable asset. He has held several key customer facing leadership and Project Implementation positions with Qatar Petroleum, Olex Pty Ltd., Optus Telecommunication and WWW Networks Pty Ltd.

He completed his B.E. in Electronics and Industrial Electronics from University of Pune. He has varied experience in handling large-scale projects in a multicultural work environment. His zeal and energy while tackling tough situations, makes him an admired team player with keen business acumen and leadership qualities.

Vijay Joshi: Vice President, Engineering Process Outsource Group

Vijay Joshi, who leads the Engineering Process Outsource Group at Commtel has given 12 years of support and dedication to the organization which he treats as his second home. An Electronics and Telecom Engineer from Mumbai University he started his professional journey as a Customer Support Engineer at Global Telesystems but soon finding the job mundane, rose himself to a challenging and exciting opportunity, when he joined Olex Pty Ltd. His qualities of being a good listener, calm and composed nature and taking responsibility for all his actions propelled him from an Engineer to heading the Operations and Systems Delivery group at Commtel.

Driven by a deep sense of ownership he aspires to take Commtel to greater heights by concentrating on his strengths like trustworthiness, fostering growth by excellent relations both inside and outside the company and an attitude of challenging the norms. His 17 years of industry experience and advanced training course in optical fiber and digital telecommunication technology has helped him in executing and delivering all the projects with precision and utmost discipline.

Shantiprasad Chamoli: Vice President, Business Value Delivery and Sustenance Group

Shantiprasad Chamoli has an extensive telecommunication industry exposure of 18 years. An inevitable part of Commtel for the last 12 years, he has been one of the mainstays of Business Value Delivery and Sustenance Group which he heads today. He holds a Diploma in Electronics and has undergone various training courses in the field of optical fiber technology and digital telecommunication systems. Certain key aspects of his work at Commtel have been projects and contracts management under which he has efficiently executed various turnkey projects over the years.

He managed Commtel’s Delhi office as a resident manager for a few years finally gaining a foothold at its Belapur office looking after key project executions. He is a person full of wits and liveliness who brings energy and excitement all around; a driving force among his group, a man of character for the people who know him.

R Ramachandran: General Manager, Business Value Delivery and Sustenance Group

R Ramachandra fondly called ‘Rama’ has been with Commtel for the past 9 years. A diploma holder in ‘Instrument Technology’ with rigorous training in optic fiber technology and digital telecom systems equipped him to serve the professional industry for 15 years now. He started his career working as an Engineer at TIFR and then as QA technician at Lucent Technologies, the experiences from which have made him stronger with the will power to overcome testing situations with a focused approach hence mitigating majority of his hurdles on his way top. Currently holding the position of General Manager, in the Business Value Delivery and Sustenance Group his role encompasses both project management and accounts management for all the key Commtel customers.

A self motivated person with a clear focus on his goals, he has always set higher aspirations for self and been an example for others that one need not be an aggressor to get things done both at internal or external levels. He goes by the thought “I see each 6 balls in an over as an opportunity” said by Sunil Gavaskar, seeking opportunities at every step and converting them into results which have spoken for themselves for the past several years.

Narendra Das: General Manager, Commercial Contracts and Supply Chain

Narendra Das plays the pivotal role of heading the Administrative, Accounts and Logistics division at Commtel, which are critical positions for any services company. He has held this important position for the past 10 years, looking after all the management and work related to company’s accounts, administration and entire logistics support. A Commerce graduate he worked at various large companies in the field of accounts and logistics, accumulating work experience spanning 2 decades. He is a vast bundle of talent meeting an excellent people’s person who has excelled in myriad roles from P&L account management, balance sheet finalization to one of his core deliverables- supply chain management.

Das at his age is a powerhouse of energy and resource management, juggling efficiently between all the key tasks he handles. Being a team player with excellent planning and organizing skills makes him an asset for Commtel. His burning zeal to excel, risk taking ability and an attitude of challenging set norms sets him apart, complementing values of what Commtel stands for.

Alhad Hamine: General Manager, Care Service Business

He has been among the very few who have learned and aspired to go the distance when it comes to commitment and dedication. Alhad who has been with Commtel since its inception has grown with the company and today is the General Manager of the Care Service Business handling key customer profiles. With 18 years of work experience in the telecom domain behind his back he brings expertise and knowledge when it comes to expert customer service and support. A Bachelor of Science (Technical) degree and core knowledge of fiber optic technology and digital telecommunication systems has helped him play a crucial role in maintaining higher customer satisfaction levels and providing above par after sales support.

A man of few words though, he stays at the fore front when it comes to customer management, annual maintenance and support contracts. He is among the few pillars of strengths on which Commtel stands and draws unrelenting support and unflinching faith and trust.

Pravin S. Patil: Regional Head, Northern Region

Pravin Patil is the Regional Head for entire Northern Region operations and has been rendering expert and dedicated service to Commtel for the past 11 years. A Science graduate (technical) he has constantly updated his knowledge and experience in the sphere of optics and digital communication systems through specialized training courses.

He has been, for long, looking after the project implementation activities concentrated towards GSM and Microwave Radio systems projects. His current responsibilities to manage Commtel’s Delhi office see him taking care of entire operations and project management in the Northern region. A person of acute restraint and friendly nature he finds Commtel as an organization that complements his inner qualities and strengths to work in a world class environment and succeed both at professional and personal levels.
